FIELD / STORY PRODUCER: Produce wide array of documentary / docu-reality programming with heavy emphasis on true crime. | Story-mined, developed, field produced and wrote 10% of library of Forensic Files, one of the longest running and most visible TV series ever broadcast – and 10% of the library of Gangland, History’s original docu-reality series profiling the most notorious gangs in America. Gangland had a successful second run on Spike and Forensic Files remains in second run today, 7 years after original production ceased. | One of two original producers asked to reboot the Forensic Files franchise in 2019.
SHOWRUNNER: Manage all creative aspects of production for documentary / docu-reality series. | Responsible for launch and two consecutive seasons of Investigation Discovery’s Ice Cold Killers. Achieved 1.0+ Household rating in first season, earning a spot in ID’s coveted “One Club”. Delivered breakout hit that ran for six seasons and also aired on Discovery.
LIVE PRODUCER: Serve as in-the-field liaison between national correspondents and live desk during breaking news stories. | Accomplished coverage of mass casualty events, including 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the BP oil spill and the Shuttle Columbia disaster. | Extensive, continuous in-the-field coverage of major disasters, including an 18 month run for Hurricane Katrina and 5 months for the BP spill.
DOCUMENTARY PRODUCER: Funded, wrote and produced feature-length independent documentary, Lube Job: How Louisiana Got Screwed – exploring decades of corruption by the oil and gas industry and exposing the resulting ecological crisis unfolding in Louisiana’s coastal wetlands. | Brokered deal to air film internationally, with a reach of 700 million households in 100 countries. | Secured Video on Demand distribution through Amazon as well as educational distribution.
